made it to the Milan outpost of that spot with the nonnas (not always :D) rolling fresh pasta in the window.

and honestly? worth every minute of the queue.
The pasta was thick and chewy, the sauce just the right kind of tangy, and the mozzarella pocket was basically a molten hug

Here’s 30 seconds of a museum straight out of a pe

Here’s 30 seconds of a museum straight out of a period drama, moody art and marble statues, quiet gardens (very Italian postcard energy), and even da Vinci’s handwritten notebooks (yes, the man scribbled too).

And sure, this isn’t on one’s usual Milan’s “top 2” unlike Duomo museum or Last Supper ticket frenzy. But that’s exactly why I loved it. You can stroll at your own pace, no elbowing through crowds, just soaking it all in.

Practical notes if you’re curious:

⚲ Pinacateca Ambrosiana
» Closest tram: 2, 12, 14 (Orefici M1 stop)
» Metro: Cordusio (M1 line, 5 mins walk)
» Ticket: €20

Sometimes the ones not on the list end up becoming the best finds.
